For a theater festival called Wortel Dagen (Root Days), I designed a unique poster. The central element of the poster is a detailed set of tree roots that I created myself using the 3D software Blender. The roots symbolize both the name and the essence of the festival, focusing on the foundational roots of theater, culture, and creativity.
The roots have a realistic texture and intricate design, enhanced by shades of pink that reminded me of worms burrowing underground, adding a playful and organic touch. This color choice, combined with the dynamic imagery, creates a visually compelling and imaginative effect that ties perfectly into the festival’s theme.
